IWF Athlete Elections To Be Held During 2021 World Weightlifting Championships

The 2021 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships are scheduled for Dec. 7-16, 2021, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. During that time, the IWF will hold their Athletes Commission elections as part of the IWF Electoral Congress. Per the IWF’s press release, three athletes will be elected and become full voting members of the Executive Board — intended to provide athletes with a stronger voice in the sport’s governance decisions.
