Sport Performance Manager

  • The Sport Performance Manager leads essential operational aspects of USA Weightlifting’s high performance program. They are responsible for assisting in developing, executing, and enforcing program policies and protocols; proactively managing a programmatic budget; partnering with other members of the Sport Performance team to create operational documents such as High Performance Plans and Selection Procedures; tracking outcomes and key results (OKRs); producing athlete rankings and performance statistics; assisting in developing public-facing communications and presentations regarding USAW’s National Team Program and other high performance initiatives; and other operational tasks and projects as needed to support USAW’s Sport Performance  Department and National Team Program.

Membership Services Coordinator

  • The Membership Services Coordinator supports the operation and administration of USA Weightlifting’s national office in the Sport Development areas which include, but are not limited to, membership services, grassroots programs and coach development programs. This role also supports USAW’s national events by providing customer service in advance and in-person operational support at such events. Periodic travel is required.

Coach Development Lead

  • The Coach Development Lead fulfills a critical role working with coaches, instructors, and partners and promoting USAWs work in spreading knowledge to coaches in all sports. The Coach Development program is an integral piece serves our coaching community through planning, coordination and administration of USAW Level 1 and Level 2 courses, and other coach development offerings/programs. The lead has primary responsibility for the management and administration of scheduling live and online courses, staffing them with approved course instructors and providing back-up customer service to course participants and instructors.

Compliance Manager

  • The Compliance Manager is a dedicated process and systems person who plays a critical role in delivering USAW’s operational excellence. This team member creates and manages systems to ensure USAW complies with a range of regulatory requirements and operational best practices for Olympic and Paralympic National Governing Bodies. This includes serving as USAWs primary liaison and manager for all U.S Center for SafeSport matters and audits, leading USAW’s response to bi-annual audits from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and executing USAW’s ethics and grievances procedures for members.
